When you want to invest in coins, it is advisable for you to get an agent to do the buying for you. This is because; they are more familiar with the best coins in the market, and where to get them and so on. Many a time, you will find people rushing to buy the most expensive coins they can get their hands on. Most of these people end up paying too much for these coins, with some people paying even 50% over the actual price.
Like any investment you want to keep over the years, you want the best people out there helping you. This is why it’s important to find a reputable and knowledgeable agent in the beginning to help you. They will give you advice on when to buy or sell your coins, and will even keep an eye out for new coins for you to buy.
It’s recommended that you sell your coins about ten years after you acquire them. When you buy coins for investment, you should hold on to them for about this length of time so that they appreciate in value. This will also allow you make up for the price mark up when you bought the coins.
Make sure you have an agent who understands your needs. One who will advise you on what decisions to make, one who will help you acquire even a full collection of coins, and one who will make sensible purchases on your behalf. Not one who will go around buying the most expensive coins, just so you have an expensive and mediocre collection.
